Kumoricon Lite Returns! Fall 2008

PSU Anime and Random Select are proud to announce the return of Kumoricon Lite to Portland State University! K-Lite: Fall will be held on November 1st at PSU's Smith Memorial Student Union. This year, the entire second floor will be ours for 8 solid hours, beginning at 12 noon and lasting until 8pm. While content is still not final, expect last years winning recipe: Anime, Gaming, Karaoke and more!

Also expect new content not found at last years K-Lite. Admission will again be free, though we do ask that you check in at room 296 once again. New information will be posted on the forums as soon as it becomes available, so keep checking this thread!

Party In The Park 2008

Join us at Party in the Park 2008! Thursday, October 2, from 11am to 4pm. SALP promises free food and you can check out all the student groups. In addition, if anybody wants to help us man the anime club booth, it's greatly appreciated.

Manga 2008

The Center for Japanese Studies will be hosting The Business of Adapting Japanese Comics for the U.S. Market, a talk on bringing manga to the US by Dark Horse Comics. The event is from 6:00-7:30pm on March 13th. Cosplay is encouraged.
